The Tarn – Der Bergsee

Bergsee_final_unframed_small

there is a little story to this…. when i was small, my parents would go hiking and take me along, way up in the Alps. we'd take a cablecar to the mountain top and walk from there. on the way down, there was a small tarn, or mountain lake. sometimes it was turquoise in colour.. then deep blue…then light blue. i was fascinated by this lake.. and my mother told me stories.. of mermaids, magic fish and a water princess .. and how this was all connected to the water changing water colour …
