… what a contrast … !!!

well… i create lots of art… and all types of art. at first i was a bit embarassed about it… i felt that i had to stick to one style only.. a MUST in the artworld.. so i was told. well.. i tried it…….. and what happened ? my muse took i hike… she just left me… with no ideas to create anything…

so… i gathered up my courage and thought…… balls to that stupid idea… i create whatever i want, whenever i want to. digital art, traditional art, mixed media, acrylic… drawings…… photography…… i am sorry (no i am NOT).. i just cannot help it. one day i feel like this.. another one like that… and then.. it all happens at once.. like today. the result you will see below 🙂 just an example… but those are two sides of me.. both very bright and colourful.. as all of my art … only photography.. there i will stick to black and white… a little bit of contrast is also necessary 🙂 so here we go.. one is a mandala, Raspberry Mandala i called it… because of it’s VERY PINK character………. the other one Sunflower Magic is a mixed media piece i created on cardboard.. both are available as prints and on various products in my stores 🙂 hope you enjoy 🙂

.. a little bit of day.. and a little bit of night ….

i published my new art in various facebook groups, of which i am a member… and i got a wonderful compliment from one admin… when he saw my art his comment was.. a little bit of Klee .. and a little bit of Chagall … wow.. i feel really honoured to have my art described in such a way. it made my day !!

so what’s this all about ?? my latest two mixed media drawings… one a night time one.. the other .. a day time one.

both are mixed media drawings… for the warm spring day i used ballpoint pen, felt tipped pens and wax pastles… for the night painting i used acrylic ink, wax pastels. both are for sale.. and both of them are available as prints and on products in both my Redbubble and my FineartAmerica / Pixels.com stores.

way up, high in the clouds.. that’s where this little village is situated… on the road from wakefulness to sleep.. .. as we drift off……. as our bodies start to feel lighter .. our eyes are closed .. and gradually we glide into sleep ……… that is when we reach the village ……..

happily the red cat was walking through the meadows, when something shiny, goldish attracted its attention.. oh dear.. who are you?? shocked the cat stopped and stared at this blue and gold creature, wearing imposing antlers on its head ! meanwhile, the goose was flying towards the sun ..

zufrieden spaziert die rote katze durch die wiese, als plötzlich etwas goldenes aufblitzt und ihre aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht….. achje… wer bist du denn?? erschrocken hält die katze inne…. und starrt auf die blau-goldene kreatur mit dem beeindruckenden geweih auf ihrem kopf! währenddessen, fliegt die gans in richtung sonne ..

mixed media on cardboard. what can i say about this little fellow.. apart from that he seems to be happily asleep, dreaming happy dreams.. of houses and clouds, of stars and flowers….
the – used – cardboard has been gessoed to protect the colours but also the cardboard itself.. i have applied various layers of paint, added papers, used acrylic paint and acrylic markers. the size of my artwork is 20.5×29.5 centimeters or 8.07×11.61″ .. and yes, the original is for sale. however, there are also prints available.. and various products with this image, which can be found in my online stores – for info please go to buy my art .

when uploading this to my facebook account i did not explain.. no comment from me.. but a dear friend of mine immediately saw what this mixed media painting is about.. it is a prayer for australia .. may the rain come and extinguish the fires.. may the people and animals be safe .. may nature recover quickly… !
