yes.. being a bit rebellious again…. but that is me…. this little mixed-media drawing just comes along without a title… nothing.. nada.. it is so totally up to you, the viewer, to create your own story from this. does it speak to you? yes ?? then what… where… who.. which one.. what is it, that speaks to you.. sparks your imagination to create your own story? i would love to hear that.. but i realize… i wont get any replies.. or perhaps just one or the other… it would be fun to hear what you have to say about it however….. 🙂

yayyyyy.. it’s another happy fish……. a smiling one.. of course.. another one in my fish-series.. if you can call it that.. it just swam my way this morning and tadaa after a while.. this little happy fish became visible on a piece of paper.. so yes… it is for sale of course.. just contact me for info.. it is very affordable.. it is only uhm.. 12×16 centimeters big.. which would be… OH GHOSh .. something like.. 4.7×6.2 inches…….. so now.. here we go

good evening dear friends and followers… sorry for being a bit late….. i wish you all a very Happy New Year. I wish you good health, joy, happiness, love, prosperity, harmony… all the good things in life.. 🙂

but of course i was busy also… and so i have started to work on some new art.. and here is the WIP – Work In Progress – the first one of this year. it is a floral one.. and it is my january garden.. it is full of life, hope, dreams, passion, joy, laughter… well all the good things 🙂 it is far from finished… but still i want to give you a glimpse of it 🙂 take care all.. much love and light to you………. pat 🙂

… one corner in my studio …

.. this is just one corner in my studio… but the one i spend most time in… it’s night next to the window where i can see a maple tree, it’s branches actually touching the window.. and of course the neighbouring house…. anyway… i work at this table.. have lots of my stuff on it but of course not all of it.
image 1 shows you one of my shelves where a small part of my stash can be found.. papers i collected and keep in boxes.. paints, pastels, waxcrayons, stencils .. and more.
image 2 shows you a wip i started the day before yesterday… on cardboard.. and with one coating of black gesso to start with….. been adding some papers and wax crayon.. acrylics.. and will wait and see where it takes me 🙂
images 3, 4 and 5 .. yes you guessed correctly….. some of my cardboard stash 🙂 images 3 and 4 are the same box.. i will cut it up and can make several paintings from one box.. the small tiny bits i can use as collage elements in other paintings. ..

patterns-textures-layers … sketches !

my muse and i decided it was time for some fun.. mind you.. being creative is always fun.. but if you create something in the hopes that PERHAPS somebody MIGHT be interested in buying your art.. there is a bit of an edge to the fun. at least for me … this however.. sketches.. are just that. sketches.. no ambitions and hopes that PERHAPS somebody MIGHT want to buy them.. if yes, great.. if not.. great ! so there is totally no pressure on the creative process.. no mights, and hopes attached, no fears of making mistakes.. just completely letting go and accepting what’s coming my way.. fun with testing and exploring different techniques.. different media.. mixing them.. scribbling, writing, drawing, using pencils, crayons, left-over sticks from burnt-down incense sticks, etc etc.. adding paper, gauze, acrylic gel medium.. anyway.. you get the drift. and now i finished this first set.. and already new ideas for another set are bubbling in my mind.

this feels GOOD, this is REFRESHING, this is how it should be !!! LIFE is GOOD 🙂 have a fabulous day and thanks for dropping by and reading this !

i rarely post words here.. i try to just show my art.. without any explanations or comments. but now i feel it is time to explain something to you. those who have been following me for a while know.. that i post all sorts of styles.. photos, fine art, mixed media, collages, digital art.. all wildly mixed.. i post as i create …

now lately you probably noticed that it is all digital art. have i given up on the others ?? nooooooo .. never. in fact i am longing to hold a paintbrush, pencils, waxcrayon or whatever in my hand and create something with those. BUT .. big bummer…. end of december i hurt by wrist.. my tendons are badly inflamed.. and my right hand was useless. only a source of pain and .. nothing nice really. so.. lucky me, i can do digital art.. one outlet.. and so i stuck to that.. had to. now after 8 long weeks.. my wrist is slowly getting better… i never thought it could take so long but.. anyway.. just wanted to solve this – perhaps – mystery for you 🙂

and now.. back to art and my next posting is just about ready to be uploaded.
