yayyyyy.. it’s another happy fish……. a smiling one.. of course.. another one in my fish-series.. if you can call it that.. it just swam my way this morning and tadaa after a while.. this little happy fish became visible on a piece of paper.. so yes… it is for sale of course.. just contact me for info.. it is very affordable.. it is only uhm.. 12×16 centimeters big.. which would be… OH GHOSh .. something like.. 4.7×6.2 inches…….. so now.. here we go

Cedric Octopus Sitting in a Cloud of Deep Violet Ink ..a title says it all …

… just the other day i was thinking out loud.. title or no title… reveal my thoughts about my painting .. or not ? do i want to “guide” the viewers into my painting.. into my world.. or should i let them explore on their own.. find their own story.. meaning.. adventure ?? i decided to…… go with the flow. if the painting calls for an elaborate, story-like title, fine. if not.. fine by me too. this one… definitely wanted a longish title. cedric the octopus is sitting in his deep violet inky cloud and thinking.. meditating perhaps?? whilst life goes on around him.. two fish will surely bump into each other unless… one of them quickly makes a turn.. the yellow fish to the right seems to be watching.. a little “voyeur” fish.. a slightly mischievous smile on its face… the big fish on top ?? yes.. what about him.. or her.. it just seems to glide above it all… having its own thoughts about the happenings further down.. and in sympathy to cedric the fish adapted to cedric’s deep violet purple colours….. phew.. what a story. is there more in it?? yes.. of course there is.. but that would be too much to post here 🙂

it’s been quite a while since i published some digital art. not because i wouldn’t want to… but because my notebook is driving me bananas. i had to buy a new one in a rush last year and just did not pay attention to what i bought……. it was a total miss 😦 … most of my graphic programs wont work on it – too slow, not enough ram .. etc etc. really frustrating for me.. as i love to create all types of art.. that is the reason why i stayed with traditional art for so long.. but now.. it was just the highest of times to finally go digital again. it took me about twice as long as it would have taken me on my old notebook (which was one fab machine!!!) … to create this.. the upload was like wading through honey .. and my filters and plug-ins are very limited. still…… i am happy with it.. and i hope you too.

Two Messengers from Down Under

Down Under … no, in this case, not the beautiful australia, but the underwarter world. water… representing the subconscious in psychology, fish, inhabitants of this world, messengers from the subconscious. They bring dreams, ideas, memories, input, they connect us to our self; sometimes the messages are a bit weird, hard to decipher, they have their own language… but this language can be learned.. we just have to listen very carefully.

this is an intuitive painting – whispered into my soul by two fish – .. on thick watercolour paper.

sometimes the ghostship brings back memories to us, ghosts which we faintly remember or have forgotten alltogehter. these ghosts can be happy, friendly, dark, scarey… but they are part of us and part of our past. we learn from those ghosts, each one has brought a lesson to us, a lesson for us to grow from and to make us stronger. the mermaid and the fish are there as friendly spirits, observing … in the background the universe is watching..
