… variations of a theme … abstract … thoughts

yesterday i created an abstract, which i called Sweet Dreams… today i used the same colors (well more or less, plus/minus one or the other)… and created a totally different abstract. did i ever mention that i love to play with colors? well i do.. my inner child does.. my muse approves……. so… we are all happy 🙂 i called this new one.. “Variations of a Theme” by which i mean the colors. they are the theme here… thus the title. so without further ado… let me show you my latest two artworks

see what i mean ? same colors, totally different art ……….. so much fun to create 🙂 my next plan is to go big… big with this style… needs some testing and trying out……… but i will get there. in the meantime i hope you enjoy my new style 🙂 my energy art as i call it.

so this is some of my art that can be found there, the octopus one is a bit older.. but the others are all new ones 🙂 gosh…… this is so exciting.. at last…… my own page … on an art site… so it is really perfect for me. my health you are asking ?? well i think the radiation therapy has helped. i can move around much better and my pain levels have also decreased… now that is a great relief because the pain was really bad before 🙂 so i am happy on all sides and sites :)))))))))))) LOL 🙂 thinking positive is such a great help…. believe me.. shit happens.. yes and quite often…… the thing is… in every shit that is happening … there is also a tiny nugget of gold to be found.. what we have to do is find that nugget…… take it out.. wash it off… and make the best use of it… and the shit ?? easy….. that we can use as manure for our flowergarden :))))))))))) yay people… that is how it works 🙂

DANCING FULL OF JOY

I think the title really says it all : “DANCING FULL OF JOY” .. YES… it is happy, full of fun, movement, joy … what more can i say. that i created it very quickly, without thinking, just following my muse? ok.. then that is what i will say. it was strange working … because i was 3/4ers asleep. i was diagnosed with shingles on friday and girls and boys.. i thought i knew everything about being tired….. but NOW i am flat out. shattered, exhausted. just imagine what my body all needs to deal with… cancer, chemotherapy, shingles, a virus medicine, a blood thinner, chronic fatigue….. and now THIS on top of it all. but still, i want to create art and i am quite happy that i actually managed to create another piece, completely different, a digital abstract, created in PaintShopPro… here a small photo of it.. hope you like that too

so this is my WINTER TRILOGY. my muse said, the winter bits come to an end now.. time for something new. i have no idea what that will be….. i am as curious as you are i guess 🙂

Pattern of a Life

what more can i say.. this is me. with energy circles….. jumping up and down… playing snakes and ladders, letting my inner child take over… be creative, paint….. draw…… LIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAA !!! mais oui, c’est moi… it is me.. there are tears, there is sunshine… there are bubbly moments, stern moments…. ladders to climb up.. ladders to climb down.. there are caves and shady places.. there is sunlight and brightness… this is the way to live. let your inner child live, don’t forget that child inside of you…. give it space to grow, to be creative, have fun… and life will be so much easier to live :))

my two weeks of radio therapy are over…. i feel a bit less tired… though those strong pain meds still make me a bit drowsy.. but slowly i am getting used to them and soon i will be able to drive again. met my new physiotherapist today and i just know we will get along just fine..

meanwhile…. my inner child is having a ball……. because we are about to start on a new painting…. yayyyyyyyy to that 🙂

wow.. long break… but.. i am … Crazy About You Baby !!!

yes.. i was gone for quite a while… sorry about that ………. but i had a bit of a roughish time.. slowly getting better though… back to painting…… back to fun……….. joy……… experimenting and… just being creative.

in the meantime i also got quite a few new papers for my collages. i asked for paper contributions from my Facebook friends… and quite a number of them were so kind to send me new papers……… 🙂

before my “roughish time” i had started three paintings.. one i finished today… when i was “interrupted” .. i only had the black background…… and today………. wow……… creativity hit me and i finished it… here we go

… happy little unicorn .. happy birthday zoe

today is my granddaughter zoe’s 11th birthday…….. she adores unicorns…. so i decided to make her a little birthday card with a happy little Unicorn. again.. i upcycled some cardboard… originally a box containing catfood.. but it is so wonderful cause i can really use the whole box.. open it up.. unfold it.. and then cut out the pieces… then prepping the cardboard so it will last.. with several layers of guesso… then give it a white acrylic base.. and from there i start with my paintings 🙂
so anyway……. her it is… the happy little Unicorn on upcycled cardboard

no i’ve not gone mad.. but i was busy with this little cow for a few days now. she just happened whilst i was watching netflix.. and no.. it was not a film about cows.. also not a series !!
anyway.. here she is.. my Sweet Cow… i digitalized the original drawing… created a transparent background so i could apply this design also on tshirts etc.. and two backgrounds.. one white one black.

THE FLOW

… from traditional to digital ….

hi everybody

it’s been a while … sorry for not communicating … life happens….. ART happens……. and since art IS life… yes well that would take us too far now 🙂

hope you are all doing well… and just a few infos. i sold 3 paintings… i got a commission to do one in the Bird & Apple Tree style, sold another small one….. AND changed my hair style……. LOL.. from waist-length to an almost shaved head.. bald is beautiful my friends ! i was interviewed this morning….. YAY … and there will be a publication of this interview – yeah kinda logic… – but it will be in german…. mh.

apart from that.. all is well.. and now… this is what the header is all about. i did this painting in the traditional style… all in acrylics in fact, on cardboard… recycling art rocks ! .. a fish… painted on a piece of cardboard, which originally was a box for catfood….. ha ha…. kind of ironic isn’t it. so it was one fish at first… then i digitalized it.. and had the idea of mirroring it… and editing it a bit more in my various programs… and my painting went from the original “3-Auge / 3-Eyes … to the zodiac sign of PISCIES …….. i like it myself to be honest… the tribal quality it has. i love fish.. as you all know.. love to paint them.. but right now i am working on a new cardboard-art piece.. another theme i love.. houses.. villages, cities… and life there….. you’ll see.. i will publish it for you once it is done.
