… variations of a theme … abstract … thoughts

yesterday i created an abstract, which i called Sweet Dreams… today i used the same colors (well more or less, plus/minus one or the other)… and created a totally different abstract. did i ever mention that i love to play with colors? well i do.. my inner child does.. my muse approves……. so… we are all happy 🙂 i called this new one.. “Variations of a Theme” by which i mean the colors. they are the theme here… thus the title. so without further ado… let me show you my latest two artworks

see what i mean ? same colors, totally different art ……….. so much fun to create 🙂 my next plan is to go big… big with this style… needs some testing and trying out……… but i will get there. in the meantime i hope you enjoy my new style 🙂 my energy art as i call it.

Pattern of a Life

what more can i say.. this is me. with energy circles….. jumping up and down… playing snakes and ladders, letting my inner child take over… be creative, paint….. draw…… LIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAA !!! mais oui, c’est moi… it is me.. there are tears, there is sunshine… there are bubbly moments, stern moments…. ladders to climb up.. ladders to climb down.. there are caves and shady places.. there is sunlight and brightness… this is the way to live. let your inner child live, don’t forget that child inside of you…. give it space to grow, to be creative, have fun… and life will be so much easier to live :))

my two weeks of radio therapy are over…. i feel a bit less tired… though those strong pain meds still make me a bit drowsy.. but slowly i am getting used to them and soon i will be able to drive again. met my new physiotherapist today and i just know we will get along just fine..

meanwhile…. my inner child is having a ball……. because we are about to start on a new painting…. yayyyyyyyy to that 🙂

i am talking about the collage i made yesterday. i had just uploaded it to fb when i got a message by one of my dear followers…. asking me for the price. well i made her an offer and she was ok with it and bought it. (doing a little happydance in my studio) 🙂 🙂 🙂

i am making another one… it will be called… Collage Henri 2 … no it is still a wip and i wont show you THAT. … i informed my buyer that i am making a second one, also a hommage to henri de toulouse-lautrec’s amazing art…….. do you think that is ok ??

so anyway… here is the one i sold yesterday.. i also published it in my yesterday’s post… but it looks very small there.. kinda hidden a bit……. so here it is again in big……… and once the other one is finished… that will be also posted 🙂

yes.. being a bit rebellious again…. but that is me…. this little mixed-media drawing just comes along without a title… nothing.. nada.. it is so totally up to you, the viewer, to create your own story from this. does it speak to you? yes ?? then what… where… who.. which one.. what is it, that speaks to you.. sparks your imagination to create your own story? i would love to hear that.. but i realize… i wont get any replies.. or perhaps just one or the other… it would be fun to hear what you have to say about it however….. 🙂

… and the series continues ….

my outsider art is happily continuing… i am finding it more and more easy to let my inner child take over. mind you.. the controlling inner grown-up or critic always tries to get a foot in the door.. but as we go on it no longer feels threatening.. or even overpowering… it is possible to get that foot away and close the door to that critic.. that spoil-fun .. nagging, grumbling other side… not in a “brutal” way.. but in a gentle but firm manner. Telling it to stop right there, setting my boundaries and clearly.. drawing a line.. 🙂

… so now, let’s get a little bit serious .. i have to admit something …. :)

good morning friends … well.. you might have noticed that lately i have published more and more art brut / outsider art paintings… this is actually what i always wanted to paint but never had the courage to do.. i was used to painting “nice” and “pretty” .. which is absolutely ok of course.. but it wasn’t or isn’t really me. art brut is me.. letting the inner child take control.. complete control.. and shut down that inner critic, that adult spoil-fun .. the funny thing is.. these paintings sell immediately. the cow and the blue goat sold within 3 hours of me uploading them. no.. it is not the money that interests me.. but it shows me that my paintings seem to appeal.. the people buying them can feel… that these paintings come from my heart and my soul. they ARE me… so i really hope that you too enjoy these paintings.. have fun.. laugh.. and embrace that inner child yours and mine !! love and light to all

here is my latest piece of art… from down below sealevel – see my previous blog entry – now we land in a garden.. my inner child makes us land there… in this – i have to say so myself – lovely monlit garden.. where a row of tulips is bathing in the light of the full moon… some nightcreature is flying towards the garden on the far right.. an owl perhaps ?? i don’t know, and the creature is not defined .. so let us just leave it as it is… flying into the night….

i have started going through my galleries on pixels.com .. cause they added many new products.. and my older art is not yet available on all of them.. so i am taking it easy.. going from gallery to gallery.. picking out some art to be updated… but also deleting art i am no longer happy with. be it because i am no longer happy with the art as such.. or with the quality of the upload. it is fun going through the older stuff… fun.. but also inspiring.. energizing… giving new input ….

.. that would make a good start for a fairy tale…… or a romantic story perhaps?? ok agreed.. it could also be the start of a crime story… but this… looks more like a fairy tale to me. so that is where my muse, my inner child took me the other day… i love the forest.. love being with the trees, love the smell of moss, raisin and rotting leaves, the small sounds of little critters… the deep silence… and that’s where they are.. the tree sprits ..
