so here they are. more fish……. 5 of them exactly… all very happy looking. well of course… they are off to town on a shopping spree! which fish wouldn’t look happy ?? well……. me for one…….. if i were a fish. i hate shopping sprees. if i want my shopping done.. i do it online…. OR……. dash into the store, get what i want and out i go again. yes, i am a definite anti shopper LOL. if others enjoy.. fine by me of course, as long as i am not dragged along……..

so this is my WINTER TRILOGY. my muse said, the winter bits come to an end now.. time for something new. i have no idea what that will be….. i am as curious as you are i guess 🙂

… this is actually the title of my new piece of art….. ECHOES FROM THE PAST… which would also mean.. memories. what memories do i have from my past…… what memories do you have from your past?? is it all good, better and best ? or bad, worse… worst ? to me it is a bit of both. there are good memories… wonderful ones in fact…… others are not so nice….. but then what to do… shrug your shoulders and move on. the past is the past and cannot be undone.. it is part of US… our personal history…. or life… it has formed us…. made us into what we are today…… that’s just life isn’t it………..

what more can i say.. this is me. with energy circles….. jumping up and down… playing snakes and ladders, letting my inner child take over… be creative, paint….. draw…… LIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAA !!! mais oui, c’est moi… it is me.. there are tears, there is sunshine… there are bubbly moments, stern moments…. ladders to climb up.. ladders to climb down.. there are caves and shady places.. there is sunlight and brightness… this is the way to live. let your inner child live, don’t forget that child inside of you…. give it space to grow, to be creative, have fun… and life will be so much easier to live :))
my two weeks of radio therapy are over…. i feel a bit less tired… though those strong pain meds still make me a bit drowsy.. but slowly i am getting used to them and soon i will be able to drive again. met my new physiotherapist today and i just know we will get along just fine..
meanwhile…. my inner child is having a ball……. because we are about to start on a new painting…. yayyyyyyyy to that 🙂

my latestet painting…… is a little bumblebee .. kinda lost in all those flowers that are there. but .. it is a happy bumblebee because there ARE so many flowers there 🙂 bumblebee heaven you could say 🙂
this little painting was painted on paper i recycled… originally it was an advertisement sent to my house. i had no use for the stuff advertised… but i had use for the paper, which is strong quality. so i gessoed it several times.. with clear gesso and black gesso.. several layers of it.. to preserve my little painting et voilà … Bumblebee Heaven 🙂

… and so i wont … only a few days of not being on wordpress and everything seems to have changed again… but maybe this is just my impression of things. anyway.. yes i have not been here for a while.. been too busy creating stuff 🙂 and had a close encounter with an orthodontist on tuesday.. now i’ve got a lump in my face.. but no more pain and i hope the stitches will come out soon.. the only yuck think about it is.. that i have to take antibiotics because i am in a chemotherapy.. oh well… won’t keep me from being artsy 🙂

i published my new art in various facebook groups, of which i am a member… and i got a wonderful compliment from one admin… when he saw my art his comment was.. a little bit of Klee .. and a little bit of Chagall … wow.. i feel really honoured to have my art described in such a way. it made my day !!
so what’s this all about ?? my latest two mixed media drawings… one a night time one.. the other .. a day time one.
so to the left we have: A Warm Spring Day .. to the right: In the Garden at night
both are mixed media drawings… for the warm spring day i used ballpoint pen, felt tipped pens and wax pastles… for the night painting i used acrylic ink, wax pastels. both are for sale.. and both of them are available as prints and on products in both my Redbubble and my FineartAmerica / Pixels.com stores.

i love creating mandalas… and if you should decide to follow the link to pixels com you will see 3 different types in one gallery…. two are created as mixed media art… one is created digitally. 2 are more traditional in the sense… more geometric… whereas this one here is free flowing.. whirling around.. energy emanating.. spreading positive vibes and good energy. the circles are only hinted at… the forms and shapes are mostly abstract.. but not all of them. creating mandalas is very meditative.. healing and soothing..

starting on a new piece of art is always an adventure for me… cause my inner child and my muse take control.. i let them handle it… give them free reign. i suppose.. it will be another piece of happy art – that’s what my inner child and i decided to call my style …… 🙂 when people tell me that my art puts a smile on their face and makes them happy… well i guess, i may call it that 🙂 HAPPY ART ……… from a happy artist.
waves… curves… that is what i see … but of course this is no indication at all, of what the finished piece will look like, what it will be all about.. the adventure can take me in all directions.. i am a drifter…… following the input i get, putting it down on this canvas board, embarking yet on another journey, guided by my inner child, my muse.. the collective unconscious, trusting the process that has started, feeling safe…. ….. happy weekend to all !
.. this is just one corner in my studio… but the one i spend most time in… it’s night next to the window where i can see a maple tree, it’s branches actually touching the window.. and of course the neighbouring house…. anyway… i work at this table.. have lots of my stuff on it but of course not all of it.
image 1 shows you one of my shelves where a small part of my stash can be found.. papers i collected and keep in boxes.. paints, pastels, waxcrayons, stencils .. and more.
image 2 shows you a wip i started the day before yesterday… on cardboard.. and with one coating of black gesso to start with….. been adding some papers and wax crayon.. acrylics.. and will wait and see where it takes me 🙂
images 3, 4 and 5 .. yes you guessed correctly….. some of my cardboard stash 🙂 images 3 and 4 are the same box.. i will cut it up and can make several paintings from one box.. the small tiny bits i can use as collage elements in other paintings. ..
