… and now completely digital … almost

as a starter…. here some info. all stock photos used in my digital art, are mine. if i use stock from somewhere else, i will mention it and give proper credit …

so… now this is out of the way…. here my latest digital art… i called it .. COMMUNICATION. the full moon seems to communicate with the tree – a silent conversation is going on…. and when you are quiet and listen very carefully, you might catch one or the other whispered word… it is a magical moment.. an awesome moment…peaceful, meditative, totally zen.

.. three blind mice .. lalala.. only these 3 aren’t blind at all …..

a bit of fun again… my inner child having a ball. the grown up me had this idea for a new painting… and my inner child immediately picked up on it….. and tadaa here are those three mice.. a family of mice going for a stroll during a fullmoon night. the first positive comment on facebeook said … that my art makes her smile. what a wonderful compliment. there is enough bad stuff around us… and smiles are so important. so this is my way of giving smiles to people. i hope it works..

Some new recycled art on cardboard. … this particular cardboard was taken from a carton of catfood.. ha haha.. isn’t THAT ironic 🙂

FAMILY Outing during Fullmoon

that yellow background with clear gesso and acrylic ink …

that particular backround i mentioned in my last blog post… remember? the muse was nudging me along .. in that direction… of course… i could not resist my muse and started to work on that background… just went with the flow.. and this little drawing evolved.. it is really VERY mixed media.. mucholy so… starting with the background for which i used clear gesso… and then yellow and a bit of red acrylic ink…… and THEN some titan white to top it off… oh i love to create backgrounds… is it noticeable ?? anyway… that particluar background was ready for more… and it started with the house at the bottom… i used an ordinary pencil for that…. then i added ballpoin pen… and THEN i added black pastel pencil….. and thus my little drawing happened… and its title is.. Haus der Träume / House of Dreams… hope you enjoy it 🙂 love and light to all !

.. a little bit of day.. and a little bit of night ….

i published my new art in various facebook groups, of which i am a member… and i got a wonderful compliment from one admin… when he saw my art his comment was.. a little bit of Klee .. and a little bit of Chagall … wow.. i feel really honoured to have my art described in such a way. it made my day !!

so what’s this all about ?? my latest two mixed media drawings… one a night time one.. the other .. a day time one.

both are mixed media drawings… for the warm spring day i used ballpoint pen, felt tipped pens and wax pastles… for the night painting i used acrylic ink, wax pastels. both are for sale.. and both of them are available as prints and on products in both my Redbubble and my FineartAmerica / Pixels.com stores.

… an now, back to the garden …

here is my latest piece of art… from down below sealevel – see my previous blog entry – now we land in a garden.. my inner child makes us land there… in this – i have to say so myself – lovely monlit garden.. where a row of tulips is bathing in the light of the full moon… some nightcreature is flying towards the garden on the far right.. an owl perhaps ?? i don’t know, and the creature is not defined .. so let us just leave it as it is… flying into the night….

Mandalas … i love them

i love creating mandalas… and if you should decide to follow the link to pixels com  you will see 3 different types in one gallery…. two are created as mixed media art… one is created digitally. 2 are more traditional in the sense… more geometric… whereas this one here is free flowing.. whirling around.. energy emanating.. spreading positive vibes and good energy. the circles are only hinted at… the forms and shapes are mostly abstract.. but not all of them. creating mandalas is very meditative.. healing and soothing..

you might have noticed… my inner child is having a ball……. having fun and being totally happy. for a long time it had to stay put and quiet… act “grown-up” during my cancer treaments.. and all the stuff that happend during this particular journey. the inner child went very quiet .. tried to support me as much as possible, but i was not in the mood, not capable for fun and games.. preoccupied with other matters, my inner child got a bit neglected. but now things have changed and .. my inner child is back.. i give it all the attention it wants and i get “rewarded” by lovely, artsy input, images full of colour and life. i hope you all are having as much fun with this as i/we are having.
