it’s been a long long time…….. since i’ve been here

…. and i do feel bad about it. sorry.. my apologies…….. but life just took over in a big way… so big that i was just not motivated enough to write on my blog. but now…… tadaaaaaaaa… here i am again . of course i created new art…… LOTS of it…….. and i am definitely getting more and more into the outsider art/art brut/ art singulier – corner…… and i LOVE it 🙂 i will show it to you… one by one… and i will start with my newest creation. it has been suggested to me to make a series from that… but i am not sure if that will work. i DID start on a similar one though this morning……. so we shall see. so let us start with this one

TREE VIBES

and here they are……. those trees and their vibes… vibes touching and surrounding us… vibes that we can feel if we are in a very silent mood, as we are when we meditate or pray. … vibes touching us gently, with love.

… so now that i am here more often again … i am running out of titles …..

for my postings LOL 🙂 no seriously….. i just spontaneously opened this page without thinking what i was going to write. my art? yea… a bit i guess. my latest artwork….. 2 Dragons and a Unicorn… is an intutitive painting, as all of my paintings and/or drawings are. this latest one actually is a drawing… drawn on a painted background. so now you tell me… what is it. a drawing or a painting? i personally call it….. “mixed media drawing with collage background” … quite a mouthfull isn’t it… but then.. that is what it is.

is the concept of “intuitive art” difficult to understand ?? is it really? even though i tell everyone that my art just happens… i still get questions like.. what is you concept, what do you have in mind when you paint ?? … nothing.. that is just it.. i do not have anything IN MIND…… i just sit down and take out my paints, pencils or papers… glue them on to the paper, just going with what i feel is right… i do NOT have a conecept … or perhaps that IS my concept.. not to have one ?? who knows…. so before getting too technical and boring… here is my latest art….. 2 Dragons and a Unicorn.. i hope you enjoy 🙂

my outsider art is happily continuing… i am finding it more and more easy to let my inner child take over. mind you.. the controlling inner grown-up or critic always tries to get a foot in the door.. but as we go on it no longer feels threatening.. or even overpowering… it is possible to get that foot away and close the door to that critic.. that spoil-fun .. nagging, grumbling other side… not in a “brutal” way.. but in a gentle but firm manner. Telling it to stop right there, setting my boundaries and clearly.. drawing a line.. 🙂

.. that would make a good start for a fairy tale…… or a romantic story perhaps?? ok agreed.. it could also be the start of a crime story… but this… looks more like a fairy tale to me. so that is where my muse, my inner child took me the other day… i love the forest.. love being with the trees, love the smell of moss, raisin and rotting leaves, the small sounds of little critters… the deep silence… and that’s where they are.. the tree sprits ..

.. no story today… just a little bit of nature ..

today my focus is on nature….. on a park nearby… on some photos i took. decided to go for a walk this morning and – as always – haven’t regretted it. the park was almost empty..

happily the red cat was walking through the meadows, when something shiny, goldish attracted its attention.. oh dear.. who are you?? shocked the cat stopped and stared at this blue and gold creature, wearing imposing antlers on its head ! meanwhile, the goose was flying towards the sun ..

zufrieden spaziert die rote katze durch die wiese, als plötzlich etwas goldenes aufblitzt und ihre aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht….. achje… wer bist du denn?? erschrocken hält die katze inne…. und starrt auf die blau-goldene kreatur mit dem beeindruckenden geweih auf ihrem kopf! währenddessen, fliegt die gans in richtung sonne ..

poor fella .. he does seem to be a bit intimidated by her… he would love to approach her.. talk to her.. but would she respond.. would she even be aware of him? fears and insecurity are happening big time .. but i hope he will gather up his courage and just.. say something to her. i am sure she will respond.. she is not as intimidating as she looks… good luck to him ! 🙂

expressive outsider art – WISE ONE ..

i honestly don’t know if the term is “correct” .. but i feel it is……… my style is very expressive.. and i am definitely an outsider…….. and intuitive arist.. and i use a lot of symbols in my art.. but that would be too much.. expressive-intuitive-symbolic-outsider … def too much. so i stick to.. what i said in the title.

anyway… the wise one… the ancient tree… symbol for life, for the self… for growth, family.. deeply rooted in mother earth… reaching for the heavens… spreading, growing .. branching off, whilst the roots grow and spread within the ground, stabilizing and nourishing the tree .. i will not go into detail.. i think we all have our own views, our own meanings, stories and histories connected to trees…

i love trees. the beautiful almost perfect ones.. but even more so the gnarly ones.. the oddly shaped ones.. with faces and knobs and scars.. they have their stories to tell .. how wonderful it is to be with such a tree… in silence, listening and feeling the story it has to tell us.
